it hasn't come out in australia yet and i'm not sure when it will.

i'm quite excited though.

too bad we have to burn massive ammounts of coal to produce electricity which is just as bad for the environment as gas cars. until we can make electricity cleanly, the electric car is a bad alternative. however, at least we would be getting off oil. i think Brazil has it right, grow your energy:

On a serious note, Brazil's been making their own ethanol for quite some time now. Electric cars would probably have longevity issues due to lead-acid batteries. Those suckers, with good maintenance, only last 4 or 5 years and then they have to be disposed of. Creates all sorts of pollution problems, coal-fired generators aside.

P.S. Might see if i can bittorrent the thing when I get my Linux machine going. Looks like a good watch.
