The U.S. National team has improved way way way too much in the last 20 years. they've come a long way. and credit this to the international players that became U.S. Citizens. about half the team is either African, Argentinian, or from some latin american decent. BUT! even though they did hand mexico the worst defeat in our history. in last years world cup. they aren't better than us. will they ever be? I hope NOT! but they dont perform as well in high profile tournaments as mexico does. Mexico has a far better record in International play and has gone headed to head and beat or tied or narrowly lost to world soccer powers. I hate watching U.S. game because they have no real passion when they play. their style is boring. run, run, run, long ball, run! hey it may get them goals an wins. thats fine. but Football is fueled by passion and creativity. when The U.S. plays it dull and boring. its call the beautiful game for a reaon. and theres nothing beautiful about the U.S. style of play. if they even have a style.

Next time you watch Mexico play. notice how they touch the ball and how well they move in the back. they never panic and kick the ball out of bounce or blast it away when forwards are rushing at them. notice how our defence and our midfield have such a nice flare and touch I love that about mexico.

yeah i know mexico has 2 naturalized players. lots of people in mexico were and are against that. its strange for us. I dont like it because it makes me wonder if there was a better qualified player that was mexican that deserves better to be there? we have only had 3 in our entire history. but dont count on it ever been more than 2 or 1 on the team. but the U.S. I can see them trying to buy players and make international soccer like the NBA. But players are smarted than that. I cant see a Brazilian or Italian taking millions from the U.S. Soccer federation to become an american citizen and play for the U.S. they wish they could do that but they will never be able to.

and the Iran game was bad. it wasnt a good game for us at all. we lack confidence and constant attack. reguardless we are a better team in general. yes I am mexican and I will admit that against the U.S. we are pretty evenly match lately. it wasnt like before they are getting the best of us. but when it comes to playing agains the big dogs in soccer we hold our own. the U.S. shows how it lacks world class.

again notice how mexico always comes from the back. and never throws the ball out of bounds or blast it out of reach of the oppenent. even in the iran game. thats one thing i like about our game we have some nice touches and flare. if only we could translate that into more scoring opportunities. and be taller!
