For starters, they don't bomb and burn and kill to gain their oil interests, they have a system where nobody can get rich by the fruits of another persons labour, a leader who can speak for four hours without studdering, compared to bush who can't go four minutes without making an ass of himself.
They don't employ citizen spies to rat out dissidents, even though I don't agree with how dissent is treated, Fidel has a larger percent of his population backing the government than bush has.

You need to compare and contrast the two countries, but you don't have to say why Cuba is better than the US. You need to say what you think by drawing a conclusion from the facts and information. With the mindset of "Cuba is better even though I don't know anything about it" will not get you anywhere.

Junichi is right, you must gather information, and only then can you make up your mind about which is better, and you'll even know why. If you are trying to prove to her, then you might want to show her the attrocities of American imperialism and the horrible effects of capitaluism. Then she'll understand our cause.
I wouldn't even go so far as to say one country is better than another. Each has it's good points and bad. I just wish countries would leave eachother the fuck alone.
