Here it is, the official call for articles. WLF Zine issue one is about to come out and we need some articles. Here is a short about us:

What is the WLF zine?

This zine is a free speech tool published by various online members of the World Liberation Force (more specifically, the WLF computer vigilante attack network) and representatives from various fields as well as a few volunteers. The zine is not affilliated with the WLF but we believe it follows the doctrine of the WLF and since so many zine members are in the WLF, it's only sensible to call it the WLF zine. The reason we call this zine a "free speech tool" is because it is. This magazine is an open community-driven anonymous communication forum. Anybody is welcome to contribute and nothing is censored (assuming it has some relevance to the zine). This zine covers pretty much any topic. If you haven't seen topic x in the zine, it's because nobody has written an article for it yet (this is your part to come in). For clarification, this zine is released into the public domain. That means you can do anything with it. Share it, mix it up, butcher it, parody it, etc. We ask you to respect our work and give credit where credit is due but it's not like we're going to sue you if you don't. The WLF zine has some very well-founded views which we will describe here.

1. We believe in true free speech
You may think that people in the US, Canada, and European countries experience free speech but it isn't truly free. There is copyright, laws about profanities, forced confessions, and all sorts of other nastiness. A written document protecting true free speech would look something like this:

The government shall not punish anybody for speech. Speech includes any type of text, image, video, audio, spoken word, or other media. Regardless of how much speech offends people, gets in the way of operations, or causes damage it cannot be stopped. Citizens may not be imprisoned, fined, or otheriwse punished for speech or the refusal to speak.

The only way free speech can be insured (which is a basic element to any democratic society) is to remove power from people because people can abuse power to censor speech. In the UK, you must reveal any keys you have to your encryption. We believe that the right to speak also comes with the right to not speak. This is supposedly insured by the 5th amendment in the United States constitution but just ask anybody who has been forced to speak under threat of perjury on a grand jury. It's not something we like to face, but if we give ourselves permission to censor any speech, we give ourselves permission to censor all speech. Speech and free thought are basic human rights and we believe human rights should be maintained.

2. We believe in an open government
The government should not be able to keep secrets. Secrets cause wars, secrets destroy lives, and secrets destroy the democratic system. Some would argue that organizations like military forces should be able to maintain secrets. We're not arguing that secrets don't help them win, but that secrets shouldn't be kept by any branch of government. The CIA runs drugs behind the backs of Americans, secret trials ensure human rights aren't upheld, and secret operation stop free speech. Secrets stop free speech, and therefore cannot exist. At the request of any citizen, up-to-date and accurate information should be provided.

3. We believe that the war on drugs should be stopped
A lot of you are probably going, "Huh.. wha... drugs kill!!!!". It's all government propoganda. While it's true that drugs can kill, and encourage violent thoughts, it only happens to people who abuse drugs. All drugs can be used safely. Pot is safe, crack is safe, meth is safe, lsd is safe, and everything else is safe. Of course, there are inherent risks that come with using drugs such as health deterioration from using cigarettes. What if we told you that the government was making it ilegal to posess a plant that had tons of useful purposes and that they even encouraged growth of to improve the economy? Well it's true, this plant is Cannabis (Marijuana). Pot is perhaps one of the safest drugs that has ever existed. In fact, in the United States not a single death has been offically documented from pot. If you read news articles they say things like "Pot causes adolescents to have a lack of motivation. Pot causes rebellious and destructive behavior in adolescents", well wake up because this is what happens in adolescence and it's completely normal. The war on drugs chases after petty users who aren't hurting anybody. It wastes billions of dollars and hundreds of billions of hours of time that could be spent on something more important like catching murderers or restoring community parks. All drugs can be used responsibly and we need to stop wasting money banning it.

4. We believe that people should control the government
This seems pretty simple to us. History has showed us since the Roman empire that power causes corruption and corruption causes more corruption. Democratic/Marxist systems can have public corruption (as it seems impossible to get rid of) but a system where people have lots of power has much more public corruption. The government and its rescources should be controlled by the citizens, not by a dictator or an elected representative that has tons of money and power and is spoon fed by large corporations.

5. We believe government was built to provide for people
Most people believe the government is made to help build a good society and improve life for its citizens. It is, but public corruption and improper spending cause this dream to be just that, merely a dream. Millions in the United States are living off food stamps because they can't get jobs because their school doesn't have any money because they live in an area where banks won't give them loans and there is nowhere to find jobs. It's a cycle, but if the government did the job it was intended to do it wouldn't be one. Money should be distributed among the masses instead of ending up in the hands of the rich. We're not suggesting a 100% wealth sharing system where all the money is distributed, but rather a system where a part of taxes go back to each and every citizen and everybody gets a fair share of the money. If money is distributed equally, people have a chance to live life instead of slaving 12 hours a day in factory getting paid less than a living wage. It's not right that some people are born into poverty and have no way of getting out. In a government controlled by citizens, the poverty cycle becomes a part of history

6. We believe human rights violaters should be brought to justice
The rest of the world seems to share this view, but there is a big gap between beliefs and action. Let's face it, the UN isn't going after China for censoring the people's internet and nobody seems to be trying to stop the United States from committing torture or killing people. It's time for them to be held accountable for their actions and that's where the WLF comes in. The WLF is already doing millions of dollars and hours of work around the world to defend human rights so let's talk about the Cyber-Vigilante division/Cyber-Attack division. We've been teaching human rights violaters a lesson since 2004 and we're still going strong. Some have been arrested, some have disappeared, but that hasn't stopped us. We're taking them to school and making sure that everybody is treated equally through online attacks.

7. All people have the right to bear arms
No, we're not pro-killing or pro-genocide. We don't believe in this because people have the right to go hunting. We believe in this because everybody has the right to self-defense. People are going to get weapons anyways, do you want to be up against somebody with a weapon but you don't have one because it's illegal? People also need to be able to defend themselves against the government. Eventually, all governments fall and have some sort of corruption, this is the time when weapons are needed for the revolution. Wether the government is trying to force everybody into labor camps or trying to violently stop a peaceful protest, weapons are needed to defend the people.

Current members of the WLF zine include:

NAMES OBSCURED FOR MEMBER PRIVACY (will be released when issue one is)

If you want to send in your article, comment, question, ad, link, or anything else send it to the senior editor.

The revolution lives within each and every one of us. It doesn't matter who you are, where you live, or how much money you make, we can all make a big difference and it's time that we fufill our duty to the people of the world. We've continually been taking human rights violaters to school, what the fuck is your excuse?

and so begins the zine. Open your eyes and make change.
