That was fuckin brilliant. Thanks for that, comrade.
lol "J. Edgar Hoover (ahem! fuckin' murderer. Excuse me!)" :D
I have heard other views on the BPP that they separated from all 'white' left-wing/civil rights movements and did not join with them, as the video suggests. Is there any truth in that or just lies to attack the BPP?

Excellent video comrade, might do something like that myself one day

Untrue, I think some of the more nationalistic Panthers like Carmichael eventually formulated such a strategy but it was nothing to do with Huey or the general Panther struggle

Good video that. Its a shame that most people wont watch it, or if they do they'll say its lies.

I admire what the Black Panthers did but what some of their members are doing now is kind of embarrasing in certain respects.

Awesome video, especially for one under 9 minutes.
I have two documentaries, one called "The Weather Underground" and the other one called "Rebels with a Cause", both of them are about student groups in the sixties, and I believe that both of them mention that the Black Panthers distanced themselves from the "white groups" at the time.

I'm not singling out Janus, but I doubt anyone on this board has earned the right to criticize Bobby Seale because he does a cooking show on PBS or because he has some cooking products, cook books etc. for sale. "Seize the Time" is a good read, I got it at a yard sale for .25, a real bargain.

Two criticisms:
They did not mention Richard Aoki as one of the founding members, which i believe he was
and
Fuck Kennedy!

It was well made and I liked it too.

Great video, if a bit too kind to Kennedy.

relax...Kennedy was just the token white guy.
But that was a great movie. Really did enjoy it. Kind of funny how in the 5th grade all I heard about the Panthers was them being terrorists who would go to any length to kill a white person. Seriously.
But then again I think my 5th grade teacher was later fired for being anti-semetic. <_<
