heres the site: www.internationalanswer.org/campaigns/cuba/sign.html
I already signed and so should you!!! If you can do what i am doing: write out a petition form addressing the Bush adminstration, go around asking people to sign, and then send it off to washington.

Agreed, but I wouldn't cast him into the same pot as Hitler. Bush is MUCH less intelligent than Hitler - although just as evil - and is more a willing puppet than anything else. He's the equivalent of a lower-rank bin Laden.
I'd take sooooooooo much more pleasure in seeing Rumsfeld, Ashcroft and Cheney getting what they deserve. Namely, languishing in hell while getting assraped by a thorn-cocked army of scorpion men with lava for semen. Then they can watch their families get run over by flaming freight trains composed entirely of radioactive metal shards dipped in bubonic plague juice.
Yeah, that sounds about right.
In case you can't tell, I don't like Rumsfeld, Ashcroft and Cheney. Not one bit.

SenoraChe... what was Cuba like when you went there?
i am interested in going there, but i am wondering what it is like. Im sure its not as bad as all the capitalist propoganda makes it out to be.

Exploding Toast- It wasn't bad at all. People would be suprised to see that its not what they have been told it is. The people i met and hung out with were wonderful- very kind and compassionate. The cuban people are one of a kind. They will talk to you for the longest time and are very hospitable. I was invited for dinner and coffee. The people have what they need. Their situation is not like the american people say it is. The problem is the american people. They live in excess and believe that those who arent are suffering and missing out on life. One does not need liters of Pepsi and Doritos and Pizza Hut to live well. The Cuban have what they need. To me that is how we should all live. Living with just necessities is to truly understand and enjoy life. You do not become preoccupied with gaining material objects. The cubans are an example of this. They enjoy music and the arts. You can be eating dinner with them and listening to music and they will suddenly get up and dance. Basically every restaurant has a live band so this is a very common scene.
There is just so much to cuba that i could go on forever. Its really an experience that one can only understand if they go there. Another reason i live it though is that it is so much like my province of Galicia in Spain.
I suggest going there if you can. Just make sure to learn some spanish--- its very helpful.

That is *so* true. Where did you stay in Cuba? I landed in Varadero but spent most of my time in Havana. I got back at the beginning of April.
Cuban people appreciate the important things (family, friends, arts, the beach, love ;) ) in life so much more than most North Americans I know, IMHO.
I spent entire days with total strangers just giving me a tour of city, without asking or expecting a dime from me. They have supermarkets and stores and shopping malls (nice ones!) although only the bare necessities are reasonably priced. Stuff like Pringles, Dentyne gum, chocolate bars are considered luxuries (and so appreciated so much more). The music is great, and so are the dancers...
Like SenoraChe said, there is just too much to Cuba to talk about here. It has so much warmth and personality (if you leave Varadero and other touristy places).
