Hey. I live In Suffolk, UK and I want, no sorry, NEED to start up some sort of campaign group in the area. If you live in or around the area and would like to take action against the various things that need addressing in our society (e.g. animal testing, blair and his policies, and the farmer in mildenhall who sells gallows to robert mugabe, we HAVE to do something about him) then please e-mail me at [email protected] its getting to the point where i cant sit around any longer and watch these things happen. I really don't give a shit anymore about the danger of getting blacklisted or anything, I don't care if I get a fucking prison sentence, none of that matters as long as I and like minded others (such as yourselves reading this) can get the message accross that the things that are happening wrong. so please, if you are in the area and would like to form some sort of campaign group, obviously im looking for a lot of people and we will need a name, an organisation we can be proud of, and most of all, a lot of support, because the pride doesnt come without the support. so PLEASE if you're interested, e-mail me at [email protected] or reply to this post.

Could you give any more indication of what you wish to achieve? I'm interested in your group, but I dont exactly live very near Suffolk (though I do live in South England) and need to know if it is worth making the journey for meet-ups and stuff.

The problem is Tommy that each group has specific politics so its up to you to decide which organisation fits your politics.

There is an anarchist group in Ipswitch. If you're interested I can get a contact. There are also anarchist groups in Norwich and Colchester,

Otherwise there are groups like the Socialist Workers Party, Socialist Party and other youth wings like 'Revolution' and the Communist League Youth.

All these contacts are in the political organisations thread in my signiture. If you need any help in contacting people, let me know.

How come Commitee for a Marxist international (CMI) known as socialist appeal in UK isn't in that list? www.marxist.com is the website.

I live in Suffolk, but the problem with any side of organising any demo's, actions etc. in Suffolk is the shit public transport and the police with fuck all to do. Having said that the amount of Yankee planes overhead is obscene, I heard recently that they're transferring weapons to Israel through Suffolk airports.
