I was wondering what this whole "capitalization or capitalizing of Che's Image" means.
Are you guys talking about the t-shirts and hats they sell?
So this is not a good way to show your support of che? by wearing a t-shirt with his image?
what about the documentaries and books?

There are diferent opinions on it. I believe that shirts, lighters and things to that liking are exploitation of his image but documentaries, books, ect are fine as they educate the mind. Hollywood movies can go either way. It depends on the outlook of the directors and producers.

It's ok in some aspects. Wearing a Che T-shirt may get another person interested in the man and want to explore it. However, a lot of people who wear it don't even know who he is and some think he's Bob Marley or something.
Furthermore, a lot of the merchandise that is created simply exploits his image in order to sell money and that is not acceptable. In fact, his family have brought up lawsuits against companies such as Smirnoff that have used Che's famous picture.

but whos that money going to?
The corporations who manufacture it. The most likely do it in some sweatshop.
what are they doing for the revolution?
Absolutely nothing. :(

A few pieces of cloth, a needle and thread, and a cloth-marker.

yes but most likely those would have been made in a sweat shop plus I have no experience or idea how to make a shirt. I guess if there isn't anywhere i can get one that hasn't been made in a sweat shop is there anywhere that supports the leftist cause?
