its dangermouse (one half of dangerdoom) an cee-lo, who is a rapper. altho what i ve heard of gnarls barkley seems mostly soul based, there is definate hip hop influence in there.

if you like soul with hiphop beats you will like this album. i would say 40% of the songs are really really solid, and the rest are either so-so or meh.

I've heard a few of their tracks all over the place in the past three days or so. Pretty cool, and I'm usually not too into hip-hop.
