WORKSHOPS
We have some great workshops being planned, everything from Alternative Parenting discussions to Prisoner Support to Advocacy and Social Services from an Anarchist Perspective. We've listed more workshop subjects below, but we are still in need of workshop facilitation. Please read through the "Workshops" page on this site and email us a submittal if you'd like to be included in our schedule. In case you don't send anything in time we'll still have space reserved for Guerrilla workshops.

Confirmed Subjects:

* Economics (the end of!)
* Parenting (adoption, subversion, etc.)
* Daily resistance/Strategy (lifestyle anti-capitalism)
* Animal Liberation (commodification of the vulnerable)
* Prisoner Support (solidarity means attack!)
* Violence against Women (likewise, the end of!)
* Spirituality (Passion and the state)
* Art (Graf the state!)
* Anarchist advocacy and social services (fix shit up)
* Anti-civ (pre and post capitalism)
* and more!!

HOUSING
We want to make sure all your housing, eating and childcare needs are going to be taken care of. We would remind you that we have, for reasons of our own devise and insanity, scheduled Our Lives Ahead to coincide with the Indianapolis 500. This means a few things: one, for those of you who celebrate Indy car racing, race weekend is all your dreams come true, and two, for the rest of us, we must be aware of how very crowded the city will be during the conference. We encourage you to make housing arrangements as soon as possible. Please contact us through our registration email if you would like us to arrange a place for you to stay (we have limited space). Race weekend is absolutely insane for motels and campgrounds, which are booked years in advance. If possible, please bring camping supplies for peoples yards if we end up filling the housing.

CHILDCARE
We have a childcare coordinator that can be contacted at [email protected] for any needs you might have. We have some great activities and a safe location for our children to spend time - the kids (and anyone who wants to join them) are going to do arts and crafts, make public art, and learn how to juggle, among other things.

FOOD
As far as food, we have some fine vegan cooks here who are going to be very very busy around OLA. The best way to help them out is consider making your "conference fee" a food donation (see "LOGISTICS" on this site). Since they are discerning and discriminating chefs, they do ask that you bring food items in accordance with our menu to enhance your culinary experience while you are with us.

CONFERENCE "FEE"
We have worked on planning a lot of extra activities for the weekend that will break up the normal workshop routine and we want to encourage you to support our activities with some spontaneity of your own. Please bring art, talent, skillshares, workshops, food, etc., to Our Lives Ahead as a contribution to our organizing needs. We want to facilitate a very strong and visible alternative to normal capitalist exchange. We'd love for you to get creative and bring something to help build this alternative.

ACTION
Yes, there will be action (games, sporadic dance parties, tours, etc.) and remember, we'll be blocks from downtown where the city will be swarmed with Indy 500 goers. Imagine the potential.

Very interesting.

From the Geo-visitors thing, I noticed that there are a few who live in Indiana (one in Indiana) so someone might show up.
