" BEIJING, May 19 (Xinhuanet)-- Former U.S. colonel John Murtha acknowledged in his Pentagon report Wednesday on the Haditha incident in Iraq that the U.S. Marines "killed innocent civilians in cold blood."
"A video provided by Hamourabi Human rights group shows covered bodies, which Hamourabi says, are of a family of 15 shot dead in their home in Haditha, in western Anbar province, Iraq March 23, 2006. A video of civilians who may have been killed by U.S. Marines in an Iraqi town in November showed residents describing a rampage by U.S. Soldiers that left a trail of bullet-riddled bodies and destruction."
"Iraqis in the town of Haditha have all along stressed "the U.S. Marines deliberately killed 15 unarmed Iraqi civilians, including seven women and three children."
One young girl among them said the troopers killed six members of her family, including her parents. "The Americans came into the room where my father was praying," she said, "and shot him."
"So it's a very serious incident. It shows the tremendous pressure these guys are under every day when they're out in combat and the stress and consequences," he noted, stressing "nothing indicated the Iraqis killed in the incident were at fault."
"One man was killed with an IED," he made it clear, referring to a marine killed by the bomb. "After that, they actually went into the houses and killed women and children."

For every atrocity by imperialist troops in Iraq that makes the news (this surfaced only because one of the survivors filmed it) you can be sure that there are dozens that no one in the West hears about. No sympathy for US troops is exusable, they are all mass murderers or accomplice mass murderers.

You expect us to believe that communist propaganda? LOL. Gimme a break!
I searched respectable media sources for the same information? An i didn't find any such article...hmm what are surprise!
The only news papers that had similar accusations were either state-run media (http://www.islamonline.net/english/In_Depth/Iraq_Aftermath/2004/11/article_07.shtml), or cheap tabloids (http://www.heraldsun.news.com.au/common/story_page/0,5478,15797327%5E1702,00.html).
Sorry man, but you'll have to do a little better than that.

I heard about this a while back.
Iraqis killed by US troops ‘on rampage’ (http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,2089-2103695_1,00.html)
I saw an interview with the young girl who lost members of her family in this crime. She was about six years old and is traumatised.
That's why I don't give a fuck when US and other coalition troops are killed.
The story about the massacre has been in the press for a while (American news agencies obviously avoiding it like the Bush propagandists they are) but whats more recent news is that people in the US government are admiting it.
Remember, before the video came out, the Americans tried to cover it up and claimed that they were killed by an insurgent IED, rather than systemenatically exicuted by Marines.

Yup.
The lies are always uncovered.

Xinhua is an internationally respected news agency, its not pro-government in its editorial stance like People's Daily.
In any case you obviously weren't looking very hard because CNN ran the same story:
http://edition.cnn.com/2006/WORLD/meast/05...murtha.marines/ (http://edition.cnn.com/2006/WORLD/meast/05/18/murtha.marines/)
The only discrepancies between the Xinhua article and the CNN article is that while the Xinhua article reports 15 civilians murdered the CNN article reports "at least 30 innocent Iraqi civilians"

Ever heard of a "media pool"? The united states government made a law in the beginning of the Desert Storm that forced journalists to be "guided" by US troops to where the government officials thought was suitable, and "not-hostile". It is total censorship of the media, as it does not record any real news footage, only us camps, us soldiers, and us controlled locations.
A side effect of this kind of "journalism" is that when pictures are sent from actual firefights, the camera is always from the perspective of the US soldiers, which is an unfortunatly genious move to give symphaty and support for the American soldiers..
It is illegal for any American journalist to do independent journalism in Iraq. The government also owns all broadcasting satelites, so journalists can not send live recordings without government approval(and censorship). There was one guy who shot the first pictures of the bombing of Baghdad, and he was sentenced to and Iraqi-American jail for 40 days, and then sent home. Freedom of speech yeah..
The association for journalist "freedom" fought these kinds of actions of course, but they wasn't aggressive enough to get anywhere.. Idiots.. Probably because it's the cheapest option.. News is business, business is money, global independent journalism costs money, news dont wanna spend money. Very simple actually. The reduction of capital into television is obvious, as you can see on all the reality shows that goes around.
For anyone who denies the censorship of current news events(wars) can just see the difference of footage from Vietnam, where independent journalism was actually allowed to report (which probably probably caused the downfall in popularity for Lyndon Johnson), and from Iraq, where you can't see any remote sings of the horrible realities of war.

Well now, I have never know journalists to be one sided.
I dont trust the independent reporters of places like Flashpoints and Pacifica as much as I dont trust WorldNetDaily.com.
It seems as though that with such a free press we have here in the West that many leftists are censoring themselves with thier own prenotions by starting up book clubs, radio stations and news magazines that only portray what already fits into thier world perception.

Yeah, it's all a left-wing media conspiracy (because US mainstream media is obviously so left-wing that they'd fabricate a Pentagon report admitting 15 dead Iraqi civilians were massacred by US troops). It's not like US Marines don't routinely massacre Iraqi civilians or anything.. It's not like your obdurate stupidity is blatantly obvious either.

Why is that every time the US invades another foreign nation something like this happens?

What about the 2000 dead Americans and the 30,000 injured? Why does no-one mention them? Are they less important humans than Iraqis? They are the true heroes stopping the world slipping into the dark ages thanks to the 6th century Religious crap from alqida and the Taliban. Alqida may have nuclear suitcases. Do you know the disastrous effects if one should go off in a city you're living in? How would you like to instantly melted? Not nice huh?
We need to plow another 500,000 troops into Iraq and extend the war into other countries to prevent the religious nonsence from spreading. The extremist idiots want to pull the world back into the dark ages in which everyone has to go around dressed like a seventh century arab. I would have thought communists would understand this after the 1979 Jihad in Afghanistan.

Why does no-one mention them?
They're mentioned quite frequently in the news, etc.

That threat is terribly exaggerated.
We need to plow another 500,000 troops into Iraq and extend the war into other countries to prevent the religious nonsence from spreading.
That would definitely quell Islamic fundamentalism: invading more Islamic nations.
