Check this out - This didn't come as much of a surprise to me. Here is a quote from the article on the first below link:

"The Bush administration is reported to be planning a long-term military relationship with the post-Saddam Hussein government of Iraq."

That figures - every place the United States has invaded and/or occupied in any way, also has a military base within that country's "supposed" sovereign boarders. This is apparently how the United States plans to keep everyone under control, once the government of this country secures all of the corners of the world for the multibillion-dollar corporate interests here. This is my opinion about that.
