I dunno, he is looking pretty shifty. Perhaps....the Dick Cheney of Cuba? :cuba: :castro:
I kid, I kid.
Gen. Abelardo Colmme Ibarra maybe??? He looks like him and he's about the right height compared to castro but i can't really tell cause his eyes are really shaded. actually its probably not him...
Or maybe its not someone famous at all.

Maybe some of us have respect for one of the main people behind the Cuban revolution. And even if it was just some random guy, is it justified to mock an old man's health?

um, about the time he became the elected public representative of the most democratic, free and egalitarian society that's ever existed in the history of the world. Attacking Castro is is to attack the Cuban working class and the working class everywhere.

Tragic Clown, where do you get your infomation regarding Cuban democracy?
Every book ive picked up has ranged from its "totalitarian" to "its okay, but not great"
But most of these books are western and american.
Cheers though if you could tell me what kinda stuff i should look for!

Cuba, based on what I know from having contact with people living on the island, is not that bad.
And its not as bad as the rightwingers wants to make it. Not at all. They are only telling lies.
But is it as good as a lot of leftwingers wants to make it? No.
People living in Cuba, usually have a more balanced picture of how Cuba is.
According to those I know who lives in Cuba, Cuba is not, on the island perceived as a democracy, and few to no one believes so, either.

Spoken like a true party member!
Honestly, as if a joke upon his ill health automatically translates into a criticism of his policies

umm... than why are people fleeing to capitalist America?
Castro may have been revolutionary and have had good intentions but now he's just a Red Fascist. Simple things. For example, type writers are not allowed in Cuba, forget about a computer!

What the fuck are you talking about? There are plenty of Cubans who own computers.

Then how do people write books and movies in Cuba? What about the movies that are taped in Cuba?
How and why is there a website for la Granma and the PCC?
There are definitely typewriters and computers in Cuba. Even the rightwingers admit that much!

Wow, this thread definitely got off topic. So no one knows who the guy is? NWOG, are you asking out of simple curiosity or what?
