I recently saw a film called "Soy Cuba", which in English means "I am Cuba". It is an old black and white film from the sixties about pre-Revolution life in Cuba and how it affects many different layers of Cuban people. The film concludes with the victory of the Cuban rebels over Batista's forces. It was partly produced by film companies within Cuba and also with film companies from the USSR.

I was just wondering, has anyone else seen it?

Incredible movie.

I used the sequence where the young man is climbing to the top of the building to assassinate the police official in a high school class on analyzing film.

Everyone was invited. You mustn't have been at any of the meetings when we mentioned it.

I've seen it. I thought it was long and and very 1960's stylised. It was essentially a piece of propoganda, but not one that I had any problems with.
