View Full Version : My Take On the After Life
Well, this is my take on the afterlife, wether or not you choose to belive it is totally up to you.
now, consider the law of conservation of energy. the energy in your brain making your nuerons able to recieve chemicle messages in you brain CANNOT be created nor destroyed (if you follow physics). so what happens whene you die?
the energy stays in your brain and you act out your OWN after life in the psyche of your mind. considering that energy cannot be created nor destroyed right?
its not what i personally BELIVE(im a Catholic), but it is an interesting theory non the less.

That 'energy' is dissipated into your surrounding environment.
Science, religion, pick one or the other FFS.

It actually does that even when you are alive - of all body parts, it's your head which gives off the most heat.
So does that mean our souls are leaking all the time?

True. I suppose I meant that the constant amount of energy dissipates after life functions stop.
In any case, mixing religion and pseudoscience is utter BS.

Thats why i wear a shower cap all the time, it stops the soul leaking.

No, but it can be converted.
So while the "energy" will survive your death, the specific signals currently passing through your neuronic synapses will not. That means that neither your "soul" nor your "consciousness" will exist in any form.
So, I suppose you can call the perpetuation of matter/energy currently making up your brain an "after-life" of sorts if you want, but it bears no resemblance to the "after-life" of popular mythology.
Basically, it's a semantic game, nothing more.

Shower caps have been proven to be useless in preventing soul-leakage, some aluminium foil is what you need my friend!
