I wish to travel to Cuba but dont know the best approach I was thinking that i didnt want to go through the trouble of getting a license. so is it possible to fly down to mexico, catch a mexican airliner to Cuba, stay a while, fly back to mexico and drive back into the US from mexico then fly home? Will the cuban customs stamp my passport, and if so do i need to ditch it so that US customs doesnt harass me on return? Just need some help. Thanks

you dont have to go through so much trouble to get to and from cuba. and dont worry about U.S. customs. when i got back from cuba they didnt say or ask anything, they just let me right into the country. if i were you though i would get the visa to get into cuba. if you dont have the visa you might run into trouble- you could get questioned in havana.

I too am planning a trip to cuba, possibly for my senior trip with some other friends. From what I have read, its easier to go to canada first and then fly to cuba.
