Capitalism and the internet.
Peer to peer finance (http://informationweek.com/news/showArticle.jhtml?articleID=187203312)
Basically self explanatory. An upcoming trend, take loans from other people instead of big banks and stuff.
And this one has probably been brought up before but is worth throwing in again:
Privatizing the Internet (http://www.savetheinternet.com/).
Information is sent over the internet via packets of information. ISP corporations as lobbying for the right to give priority to some packets, based on who pays them more. The internet is a social network, but ISPs, the government, and corps like yahoo and google, are essentially trying to divvy up the internet, our internet, amongst themselves. If you care about the equality and democracy of the internet, you should probably be on red alert right now.
