today a sophmore at my high school got into a car accident and died. Seeing as my high is population 150 students, everyone is very close and knows one another (as cheesy as that sounds, oh well). I knew the girl killed (although not especially closely), and doubtless many people will be grieving tomorrow. A friend and i want to make a memorial for her at my school so she can be remembered; does anyone have any creative suggestions? im kinda (too) depressed to be artistic, but i have considered a statue or a mural. all awesome, original, and unique ideas would be greatly appreciated. thanx so much

When I was in eighth grade two students died in a moped accident. I didn't care for either of them and I actually think that they deserved it. They were riding a moped at night without using the headlight, and they were drinking before.

Anyways, there was a makeshift memorial at the site of the crash full of candles, poems, pictures, etc. about the two.

Anyways, it may be a bit early to be considering a permenant memorial considering she died so recently.

point, i just want to be able to DO something to help; i would like to be focusing on an artsy project versus thinking about how cruel and hard and confusing life is (especially since im really bipolar and i get suicidal easily). i like to channel my emotions into art when i am upset, it helps me cope

Wow, you dickhead. It's not enough that two fucking children die and you sit around thinking "they deserved it", but you had to make an utterly irrelevant post about it on an internet forum.

Explain to me what gives you the right to decide on who deserves death, even after they have already died.

I thought it was a relevant post. I was sharing my own experiences with the death of classmates.

I knew the two kids personally and I thought they were assholes. I didn't like them at all. They were mean to people, myself included. Just look at their stupid actions while driving the moped.

Well, I sure think that people like Hitler and Reagan deserved death. What gives me the fight to decide this? The fact that I'm a human and can make rational decisions.
