I am not kidding. If you dont know, "Robots" was another one of those animated 3D movies made for kids, but i swear it, this movie is based on anti-capitalism, or at least showing what capitalism does. I was amazed at what this movie showed (Yes, i did watch a movie for children 4+)! I even was taking sub notes during it, as to what this movie was showing. Ill just post them in short.
- Buisness fraud
- Female worker discrimination
- What advertising does/ False advertising
- The treatment big corporations give their worker....NONE
- Sweatshop Labor
- Ties between corporations and sweatshops
- The bad effects of Industry and Technology
- Classism/segregation
And also during it, it gives off ideas as to how you can..
- Fight Capitalism while living in a capitalist society. By that i mean smaller buisness's succeding pretty much. Thats at least how they show it in the movie.
- Fight against censorship/propaganda
- The ability to start a revolt on corporations
Im really not kidding by all this, if you have the spare hour and a half, go check this movie out. And its entertaining too for a kid movie anyway But for real, i truely think this movie was completly on the "left" and is def. worth watching.
