The U.S is basically opening up ties to intrude on Libyan oil fields, funny how the 'leaders of the free world' are in bed with so many warmongers.

David Welch, US Assistant Secretary of State said it showed that when a state "adhered to international norms [it] will reap concrete benefits".

Translation: When you follow US orders you will be rewarded with the continue exploitation of you citizens and recourses.

The restoration of full ties was delayed over concerns about Libya's human rights record, which the assistant secretary of state said must continue to improve.

:lol: As if America has ever had a problem with human rights violations.

It seems that Qaddafi has cooperated more and more with the US since the invasion of Iraq. Perhaps he is playing it safe and trying to get on the US&#39;s good side. Either way, we&#39;re going to see the US move into the Libyan oil fields. <_<
