Saw this the other day. Was impressed.

However, not sure if it's trustworthy. What do you make of this documentary?

I don't know much about Venezuela.

What is Chavez really like? How do the people really feel about him?

Cheers.

Venezuela -- Of Chavistas and Anarquistas (http://www.infoshop.org/inews/article.php?story=20050927085522609) has some criticism of Chavez while aconkowledging the positive,

It's completely reliable - it was filmed by an Irish film crew who were there by coincidence

It is also at obscuredtv.com, which, in my experience, takes less time to load (as in, it pretty much starts immediately, and I have never experienced any breaks).

Is there a way to download of those sites rather then just stream?

The systems on many of these sites are designed to prevent people from downloading videos from them.

The only way I know of to download the videos to your computer is the firefox extension VideoDownloader (http://javimoya.com/blog/youtube_en.php).

I'd recommend you check out Nuestro Petroleo y Otros Cuentos (http://ouroil.org) if you're interested in films about Chavez and the Bolivarian Revolution. It is highly informative, and underappreciated.

I remember seeing the disc for this title. However, the CD had a picture of London Bridge on it. I had no idea that it was about Latin America.

Yes, I saw this film at the FTAA/WTO demonstrations. It is very good indeed.

I saw it today. It's very impressive, these documentary guys are really into it. I doubt a coup has been televized so closely on any other occasion.

Also the images from the streets were moving.

And of course the newly military regime, immediately starting opression.

It's a fantastic film. For more information on venezuela I would reccomend venezuela bolivariana that is another interesting documentary that looks at the whole situation in Venezuela in detail rather than just the coup. Although it is unforunatley a couple of yeras behind now.
