actually hillsdale is not a "godbag" college. I imagine some people who go their are religous, but the college is in fact secular.

And I'd imagine that everyone that goes there is extremely wealth.

They don't accept any government money, so you basically have to have a small fortune to pay.

Reed College

Shit! I was almost going to go to Reed College. I knew that they were heavy on atheism, but I didn't know it was to that extent. Instead, I'm going to go to Harvard, which isn't too bad with regards to revolutionary left activity, from what I have heard. Apparently MIT, which is right next door, has more of it than Harvard. I was looking through some MIT online newspapers and saw several announcements for public forums about anarcho-syndicalism, so that's a good sign.

On the other hand, I hear that going to Harvard has a bit of a "time-warp back to colonial times" feel and a great deal of nostalgia for America's bourgeois revolution. Not exactly what I would call "exciting."

I love how conservatives constantly speak of the "radicals" controlling universities, when there are these schools that state outright that they are there for Christians and right wingers.

There are no schools that I know of which have an administration that openly dictates a policy of leftism.

Hillsdale is heavily accredited and so is Wheaton College (considered the Harvard of Christian Schools).

The rest suck and are only held up by wealthy donord, most of which are fundamentalist yaps. I prefer apolitical apatheic colleges that dont rely on cheap hijinks like student sit ins, protests, and what not to attract students. Rice University, where I go, is the perfect school. If you want all that mush I suggest University of Texas Austin or UC Berkeley.
