cool, philippines,

spraypainting, is always fun & effective, if it`s youth you try to attract.

Look at this: http://www.stencilrevolution.com/photopost...mural&perpage=8 (http://www.stencilrevolution.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=33540&si=mural&perpage=8)

It turns heads more than a poster does. ;)

grafiti? please spare me. do something constructive. show people the poverty that i ner them, and then show them a solution. gather as many people as you can, and do some community service, volunteer at a soup kitchen, anything that shows the brighter side of communism, not just the rebellion, as most people see it

I've always thought that a campaign to photoshop-edit pictures of the Holocaust to make them colour would be a worthwhile effort. The fact that they are black and white and sometimes hard to distinguish as a result, I think, slightly deadens reaction to them. If they were nicely coloured, with all of the pink and red gory details of smashed heads, gunshot wounds, children ripped apart and burning bodies, people may pay a little more attention.

If you don't believe me, just go to google, images, type in "holocaust" and take a look at a few.

Then go to ogrish.com and take a look at a few of those. Tell me which disgusts you more (in terms of your reaction to the graphic nature).

i've actually just started to set up a creative action 'club' at uni with some other people. we have radical bake sales where you can buy yummy desserts with little flags stuck in them with cool slogans etc, by donation (so whatever change they have). it draws people in cos its so cheap and i've met some really amazing people who have been keen to get involved in activism :D

radical cheerleading! fun and good exercise ;)

guerilla theatre/street theatre: another fun way to engage the public - just spontaneously break out the drama in the form of a skit or something and then disperse as fast as you'd come.

guerrila dance: like the theatre but choreographing it to a (leftist) song (i highly recommend asian dub foundation for this)

politics in the pub style stuff

'awareness afternoon teas': done with the remains of our bake sale. just pull up some chairs, put some snacks/tea on the table and get people to engage in discussion with you! unlike politics in the pub this should be less hardcore and more 'newbie just getting interested in politics' type stuff. people can't resist free food :D

chalking. it's great.

spraypaint is even better.

i think the best propaganda tool is the music but use rock or havvy metel music.use music that can give people hope like jazz or blues.
