A while ago I heard something about the Dominican Republic. Can anyone tell me what is up with them? (without handing me the CIA fact book that I have read a few times about most nations we talk of)

Syria.
Some background.
What the CIA say

What Amnesty International say.

Sounds familiar.

I think the U$ is definitely going to use the arrests and recent execution of terrorist in Cuba to get the U$ public on board for a "liberation" of the Cuban people.

The rhetoric being thrown around is frightening.

Also, I read this weekend that Rummy said that they had definite proof that Saddam and his regime are currently in Syria. Whether they really are or not, we'll probably never know, but my guess is that was the warning statement that they're going there next.

One has to wonder if and when this nonsense is going to end.

It will only end when Bush/ Cheny are out of office or every other country who doesn't kiss US ass is bombed to shit.

I have friends and relatives in Damascus, and I am afraid for their sake. From what I hear, people there are terrified and are willing to do whatever it takes to avoid bombardment. When will it end?

I suspect that the attack on Syria will be delayed until
The media has been warmed up to it.
There is already some back pedalling.

1) yankee are afraid of their (if it is) nuclear weapon!
2) Even if they are not afraid...WE are near...we can come to N.Korea as peacekeepers...and regim will be saved!!!

I'm afraid of Cuba!!!
