Unfortunately, I think this is something we're going to start seeing a lot more of.

Yeah, there are major racial tensions in Texas. This is almost as bad as the Jasper incident. Anyways, they aren't charging these two kids for hate crime.

I wonder how anyone could do that. It's just disgusting. I'm glad I don't live in a conservative state like texas.

Texans who are angered by this need to riot!

I think I'm the only one here who is angry enough to riot.

Fucking skinheads.

Fuck no I want to riot as well.

This would be an appropriate time to apply the 'eye for an eye' mentality.

Except a bat wrapped in barbed wire instead of a metal rod.

I agree with Black Banner, I think with the whole immigration bill and xenophobic attitude circulating in America, these hate crimes will be on the rise.

I know that the 18 year olds bond was revoked, but why was it even set so low at $20,000 while the 17 year olds is $100,000?

How could anyone do something like this over something so incredibly stupid? I am outraged at their level of ignorance.

I hope someday they are both rounded up by the victims family and they get their revenge by sticking a hollow pipe up their ass and feeding some barbed wire into it and then pulling the pipe out.

and lastly, this is my first post. been reading the board for the last few months and finally decided to join the community.

I'm surprised the court system would consider the death penalty, the US needs racially motivated killing machines for the war in the middle east.

The question I'm askingin all this is with the minute men and the increasing anti-hyspanic feeling in the south, has their been any serious attempts to organise anti-fcaist organistaions or to combat this mood.

Turner would be too young to face execution.

That's too bad as they both deserve to die.

I always thought Texas was a racist place.

Reminds me of Emmett Till, except they didn't kill him, yet.

But you gotta be on some sick shit to do something like this.

Yeah, except Emmett Till whistled at a person of a different race, this guy simply kissed a younger girl of the same race.

The South has always been conservative and remains that way. There are leftist organizations down there but there's been no serious attempts to counter anti-hispanic feelings there.

We have comrades from the south here. If anyone wants any help with amterial I wouldn't mind but really the emphaiss shoudl be on here for some serious anti-facist work.

Yes, southern leftist groups address that. However, the problem is with racism and conservatism in general. With more and more immigrants streaming in, people have become more and more racist and bigoted.

That's why I'd never move to a state like that. Yes, there should be more done to counter these kinds of actions, though it would be harder in a conservative place like that.

Racism and bigotry exists only because there is no global culture and there are language barriers. If generations exists that have known only a global culture and have no language barriers then racism and bigotry is imposible.

Yea, therez a rather strong xenophobic sentiment in the US right now
Reminds me of America during WW1 and 2
Sadly, groups like the minute men are perpetuating and expanding the sentiment with their whole "caravan to washington" fiasco
Ppl claim its not a "race thing...."
Well, how is it that they target Latino's from Mexico, Central and South America
And they ignore and do nothing about the Cuban immigration going on in Florida??
I don't see them protesting or harassing the gusano community...
Double standard mos definitely

This was one of the reasons I covered my face when I went to the march in LA
I go to school in Riverside, which has a high number of Nazi and skinhead communities
So instead of running the risk, although as a Latino the risk is pretty high, I decided to at least protect my identity to a certain degree

God I hate the minute men! just a bunch of fucking rednecks with guns. I really hope they run into cartels while their "defending the border" and get their asses handed to them.
Texas is blindly conservative, but there are a lot of people hear who aren't and hate bush, but this is still a highly conservative state, and a lot of people, still seem to be stuck in the 50's and 60's,
