GENEVA - The U.N. food agency said Friday it is cutting rations in half for about 3 million refugees in Sudan's war-ravaged Darfur region because of a shortage of money, calling it "scandalous" that it has to stretch out supplies while it pleads for funds.

They have a shortfall just when the situation is worsening? <_< Hopefully, private donors, the EU, and the other Arab nations can pitch in. The "hunger season" is fast approaching as well.

I just heard a story from Japan, where a couple of engineers built and programmed a robot to act like a walking chair that transports incapacitated ppl, no doubt that it cost a fortune

Just goes to show that the capitalists are nothing less than inhumane
Therez ppl who are starvin in many regions of earth, and these idiots are making walking chairs
The US spends millions of dollars on their imperialistic killing machines (soldiers), all the while, they ignore the pleas of innocent men, women, and children in Africa
