(Patience: this seems like theory, but it is action)

All that we wish to accomplish stands before us ready to grab.
We do not need a military to achieve this.

We have the power already.

We more than have the means of production, we are the means of production.

We are labor.

The fools who believe in trickle down economics think that wealth creates wealth.
This is only true when trading on an unequal basis.
Anyone who makes wealth in this fasion is merely a moneychanger.

Only labor creates new wealth.

So why is labor in the inferior position?

Because we do not take collective action in the free market.

If the market is free, then it must allow for freedom of association, and we can freely associate and act collectively as labor, and as consumers.

(Yeah right, tell it to a Colombian union member. But seriously, union busting is an example of "anti-free market" practices.)

Right now, merchants get the benefit of collective action in the market. They use their size to exert influence on the prices of their suppliers. The bigger the merchant, the more pressure they can put on their suppliers to lower their prices. Insurance companies get much lower rates for medical procedures because of their collective action.
Wal-Mart's "collective action" of tax revenue will cause a city to bend to it's will to subsidize it.

In fact, socialism is alive and well, but just not for the people (consumers or labor).

OK, this brings us to today, best summarized by a quote found on stallman.org:
http://stallman.org/articles/states-union.html

They have left the door open precisely because they did not stand up for the people. Now, revolution is possible merely by becoming the organizing element for collective action. This should be a optionally-representative microdemocracy, where EVERYONE gets to vote on EVERY issue, or appoint or reappoint a representative of their choosing at any time. Crypto-verified by the voter at anytime. Screw voter polarization. Screw lobbying. Screw Diebold. If they will do the bidding of Exxon and Wal-Mart, they will do our bidding, even if we didn't elect them.

We ARE the source of future value. United, we are more powerful than all of the moneychangers in the world. As an international union we can even PRINT OUR OWN CURRENCY based on labor, and back it with the promise of future labor. Talk about guaranteed minimum wage. Believe it or not, but it is precisely the promise of future labor (inequitably purchased) which keeps their currencies afloat.

We must build an international union. We must build a currency based on this union. We must wage a shorting war against all "wealth based" currencies, until only ours remains.

I have secured idlu.org and I am building the nerve center of such a system. Please help by telling me how it should be built.

Peace and thank you!
