Yea, it's quite a good movie and we're all waiting for the next one.
Also, this thread should be moved to the Che Guevara forum where there are other threads about this movie as well.

It is good by todays standards, but their are so few good movies today, they seam to have drifted away from being an art to being another corperate media.

well US films have been a money making at all costs business since jaws brought about 'new hollywood'. but there are plenty of good european and south american films.

One word i felt afterward....Inspired.....It was great, just one of those movies that at the end makes you just think....wow. So because of this movie i already have my travel plans worked out for a few years time. But it's incredible that one little journey like that could change a person and if i would "change history" I loved the movie to bits

I'll be honest, I loved this movie, but I don't know whether it was chance or what but both of the times i watched Motorcycle Diaries I fell asleep (of course I also get an average of 3 to 4 hours of sleep per night, so i fall asleep at the tv quite often)

Why don't you read the book. It's much better, as it is more emotional, poetic and they still hae the funny bits like shooting the dog of the people who put them up for the night or shitting on a roof where peaches are drying, or stealing wine by pretending to be blind drunk and continually chucking! :P

I recently bought the book about two weeks ago, but I only got about a quarter of a way through. I had realized that I still hadn't finished re-reading Catch-22 and I wanted to continue reading it, but as soon as I am done with that one I shall continue with the "diaries". As for the movie, I thought it was one of the few great films of our time; it truly begs for a change. It makes me think about the changes I have in mind.
