Psst. we don't have any more AKs or SKS' either. all of my friends that had those fine rifles moved out of town and left me sitting high and dry with just my shotgun.

edit add: actually i take that back. i think my friend lance has a few AKs, but i've never gone shooting with him.

well, i wouldn't count on getting an AK for less than $300 unless you did some serious looking. they usually go for around $350. Even most gun shows I've been to they average at least $400, but sometimes you can find good deals at:

Of course, the fact that they are cheap is part of the appeal. I like shooting, but don't really have the means to drop 900 bucks on an ar-15. Even if I did have that much money to drop on a rifle, it would go to the ol' dragunov (http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/reviews/gp_svd_dragunov/photos/svd01.jpg) with the ak receiver. that's your money melon. I would also really like to find a SAR-3 AK that shoot domestically made .223 rounds. fuck that imported crap--the ammos too expensive.
