Starting with a short comic strip, and evolving into an [adult swim] TV series, The Boondocks follow revolutionary Heuy Freeman and his friends in issues of race and politics. Who else loves this show/comic?

Its a great show. I loved the one where Riley goes around spray painting houses in their neighborhood.

Yeah that was probably my favorite. This is easily one of the top animated shows on TV. Also one of the best comic strips.

The best episode is either the one with Martin Luther King Jr. or where Huey tries to have that wrongly imprisoned man to escape.
I have to say, I always love it when I come in at the start and watch a full episode. But a lot is lost when you watch it in pieces... I would say it isn't Trigun good, but it isn't Oblongs bad.

i just searched and looked through a month of them. I'd like to remind everyone that racism goes both ways. Making white people look like idiiots and constantly saying things like " OMG BLACK PEOPLE ARE MOVING IN PROPERTY VALUES ARE GOING TO GO DOWN AND DELINQUINCY IS GOING TO GO UP!" is still racism even though it's against white people.

Pointing out mainstream white racist thinking is NOT racist against white people.

Its funny that you say that because a great deal of the criticism that Boondocks gets is that it is "racist" towards Black people. It just happens to be very VERY direct social commentary, which is honestly what people in this country need, whether their White, Black, Red, Brown, Yellow, Purple, Green, Baige, etc.

I find the comic strip to be quite humorous some of the time. What's the TX series like?

I have every episode on my computer in mp4 format but anyways, My favorite episodes is probably the Lets Nab Oprah,The Health Inspector And Garden Party.
The reason why is because I love Ed Wuncler The III(Eddie Murphy) and Gin Rummy(Samuael Jackson). Its an all around funny show. I think the funniest thing ever was the oprah one because they made fun of text messaging and I use it but it was hilarious.
Ed Wuncler The III : "*****es love smiley faces" "I just sent that ***** a smiley face".
Gin Rummy:"Fun Fact nothing typed by someones thumbs has never been important , Its all just nigga technology any ways now dont be tripping calling me a racist I just use it for a general term for ignorant mother fucker anybody from any race could be an ignorant mother fucker"
I like the ep "The Block is Hot" where the capitalist guy buys Jazmine's lemonaid stand (and her labor) in exchange for a pony (and the up keep of the pony which was more then the income from the lemon stand). The best part is after Huey e-mails Human Right Watch about the expoltation of Jazmine that creates a "protest" that Huey tries to lead into a charge only to find the "protestors" are non-violent, then the "protesters" buy the BS the capitalist sprews of not knowning that his lemonaid stand used child labor and his company now sells cruelty free lemonaid which the protestors clamor for.

Any show that starts out with the word "Jesus was black, Ronald Reagan was the devil, and the Government is lieing about 9/11" can't be that bad!
I think my favorite episode so far is probably the (I think) newest one, with the lemonade stand and the soap box. I think it's a pretty clear jab at capitalism.
Also, another great episode is the one where Ed & Gin Rummy hold up the convience store. If you pay attention closely, it's an amazing metaphore for the War on Terrorism/Iraq, etc.
I think, regardless of whether or not the comic or show is racist, they are both good for American culture, and they both force people to rethink social stereotypes and structure. The Boondocks is a great thing, I just hope it doesn't get cancelled!

It's obviously not racist
Just the insecurities of White America percieve anything culturally 'Black' as racist
I sent that ***** a smiley face. *****es love smiley faces.
