They look brilliant.
Couple of questions about them:
1) Who paints them? Is it like contract artists?
2) Does the local community have a say in whether they go up and what's in them? For instance, are the communities they appear in "strongholds" of INLA?

1) They were all painted entirely by RSM members, mostly IRSP and some ex-POWs.
2) Yes, the one on the gaff was done with that family's support and permission. Not sure about the Patsy one, how the site was selected.

Good stuff, I especially like the Patsy O'Hara one cause it's right next to my Gaelic football club :)

I also like the O' Hara mural, very nicely done.
At the Sinn Fein easter parade, to hear people talking about the "IRA Hungerstrike", it's a pity to see the role of the INLA not so much forgotten,as lumped in with the IRA. ALL 10 men remain heros, and both organisations deserve the recognition,so it's nice to see the Oglaigh recognised as such on the Republican-Socialist murals. Very nice work!

that's the black flag used by republicans and republican socialists to remember the hunger strikers and to protest.

Not in this case, it's been widely used since Bobby Sands death.
