Some people say that one of the goals of communism is to abolish money. But let's say that a communist society was to be formed in a country and we needed to get resources from another because we can not produce them ourselves. If we have no currency and having nothing that the other country needs in terms of resources, then how do we go about paying them for the stuff that we need?

This is pretty much why communism cannot work in an isolated country.

However, I suspect there will always be friendly countries ever if not communist, that would trade natural resources or technology.

For example, as a socialist or communist society would have to be high tech, then we would have something other countries would want.

However, developed countries, like Western Europe or USA, will be first to have worker revolutions, so it’s likely to have a massive economic effect of second and third world countries. They might even go so far as needing to accommodate us!
