It's beginning to seem pretty amazing how completly oppresive our government is becoming in the wake of september 11. A proposed Oregon Law would treat protesters as terrorists with an automatic sentence of 25 years to life for the crime of terrorism. I think this proposed law is...premature.

Sometime during the third or fourth war down the road will be the time when a law like this will stand a good chance of being adopted...and upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court.

I'll be honest. I love Oregon. It's a beautiful state with beautiful people. But this place is going to shit and has been for quite some time. Our school years end in fucking March. What kind of adults is this going to produce?

Actually this "proposition" does not surprise me, I mean look at what happen to the people who wore a "Give Chance a Peace" Shirt. Hey it is all going down hill USA will be almost as bad as Cuba under fidel castro rule. They will just throw the Constitution away fucking our for father in the ass and let the government rule the country since all of a sudden democracy has turn around on us and bit us right in the ass!

To think the governement was to work for the people and not the other way around. Which brings me to another topic How many of you will actually join the revolution if time called for it. Over the last year or so I have come to hate what most of America standsfor. I know, many americans are against the war. I can't generalise about any nation or culture. But still I hear of some americans.... and a feeling of disgust flow through my veins.

I was of that impression that americans were very protective of their own freedom. But... now goes the freedom of speech!

In Denmark it is illegal to demonstrate if you are "betting" on Saddam. Because of Denmarks participation in coalition. We have very small punishes for crimes in Denmark, but that "crime" can give a penalty of up to 16 years. So in some way we also don't have freedom of speech...

In my country portest are still in their young years since the opression faced in the decade of 73-90 most of the population is still too afraid of authorities. Then you couldnt be against the facist goverment of Pinochet, if you were you would dissapear and your family would be yelling for you in the courthouses. Nowadays people would rather not say a thing before having to be tortured like they were on those years.

How can this be called democracy ?? how can denocracy be when you inprison your own comrade that are trying to protect innocent children ?? how is that terrorism ??
