On the 10th of April an 8 years old child was killed by the IDF bombings in Gaza.
Here are pictures from the demonstration held against the bombings on the 11th of April in Tel-Aviv.

These people are brave to stand up to their govt in a time when national-chauvinists are popular.

Power to them.

Do the Israeli police come down hard with violence and repression against Israeli demonstrators?

We all know of the IDF and itīs treatment of the Palestinians, but does the Israeli left movement/anti state movement/anti imperialist movement get harsh treatment by the capitalist state in Israel?

yes although not as hard - a young demonstrator against the rule recently interviewed in Jewish Socialist magazine was shot in the eye not that long ago.

Inside Israel, there is no danger.

In the occupied territories, that's a different story.
Here is a film filmed by Peace Bloc so you could see:

Inside Israel, there is no danger.

Only as long as those inside Israel do not pose a real threat to the capitalist system.

Should the working class and the oppressed in Israel get together and form a large, effective and united movement against capitalism and the state, then the Israeli police will most probably do to the Israeli people what they now do to the Palestinians.

I gather il Commie, your from Israel?

Could you inform me about anti-capitalist/socialist and anarchist groups inside Israel.

I know of the HADASH movement, I think it's the Israeli Communist Party and some other Arab groups in one movement, though correct me if I'm wrong.

But I'd be especially interested in anarchist/libertarian communist/non-leninist marxist groups in Israel, if there are any?

I doubt that. The police in Israel is very violent, but they never shot protestors. Only the army did, and they don't work inside the green line.

Yes.

I am a member of Banki (Israeli Communist Youth League), which is the youth momvent of Maki (Israeli Communist Party). We are the biggest organization in the radical left.

There are two more communist organization: Socialist Struggle (CWI Israel) and Israeli Communist Forum (a split from Maki).

Hadash is a political front formed by Maki. Years ago there were other organizations in Hadash: Black Panters, Socialist Left Party, Israeli Communist Organization and more. Today most of them don't exist, but their members are still active in Hadash. Today the only organizations in Hadash except for Maki are the druze refusal organization and local organizations, like Nazareth Democratic Front.

There is a small Anarchist community in Israel. They have many organizations (Food Instead of Bombs, Anarchists Against The Fence, One Struggle etc.) but it's all the same people, they just don't want to be called "a party" so they have an organization for each purpose.
