I think that there needs to be legitimate political agitation against the Left Front government as they continue to accept and promote neo-liberal reform in the country. This cannot be allowed! The Left Front has been reduced to a bunch of pseudo-Marxists more interested in winning the next set of elections than any kind of political mobilization of the masses. Friends of mine in the CPI and CPI(M) admit that the parties have given up on any concept of revolution, and are now more interested in social democracy. Also, please do not give me the hanckneyed arguement that we need the Left Front government otherwise the BJP will get re-elected. This has been an arguement that members of the CPI and CPI(M) have been making since the 1980's. What we need is the revitilization of the Left in India.

Now tell me exactly where you think the CPI(M) is wrong. I am a member of the CPI(M) and I know for sure that CPI(M) has taken a perfect path.
It is too early to talk about revolution in India, people are not ready for that and as far as mobilization is concerned we are spreading the news like anything and almost all the labor unions are controlled by the CPI(M).
As far as BJP is concerned they have taken the correct stands, we should never let the BJP come to power at any cost and ask your friends the details about the BJP’s records in India, then you will agree with the CPI(M) regarding this issue.
If you think that CPI(M)’s stands on any particular issue is wrong then you can very well talk to me regarding that and which party do you think has taken the correct path?
