How is the popular opinion on the communist movement in Azerbaijan, considering it's a former Soviet republic and all? What 'branch' of communism is dominating?
Is the revolutionary movement secular?
The communism has been forgotten in my country. Imperialism rules. USA are in charge. Oil dollars mean the world. 20% of our lands are under armenians. Government don't care about it. About 1.000.000 refugees. President will not start the war for those lands untill permitted by the US. We are thinking of our own guerilla to start on the enemy territory. The way we see it, in this case the government will only have 2 choises. One is to start the massive operation and get the lands back. Second is to try to get us. In the second way, the people will get up. Of course with the right propaganda from our side. There has been a group of 21 young azerbaijani guerillas, but they got arrested before they even got there. 3-8 years in prison - the price for patriots these days. Problem is that the majority of youth dont care - they prefer having good times in the capital. Can you imagine - in most of the regions, children that go to school, take woods with them, wqoods for the fireplace in the classrooms, cos otherwise its freezing, I mean in winter. Its 2006, but it seems like 1806. So its either now or never. We will start, and as Comandante Guevara said "our defeat will not mean that the victory was impossible". Hasta la victoria siempre! Patria o muerte!
