In this experiment, researchers used nano-particles loaded with chemotherapy doses to destroy prostate cancer tumors. The selectivity of this drug delivery system lessens the toxicity and increases the efficieny of anti-cancer drugs. As a result, all the mice survived the experiment.
This drug delievery system can be used for other cancers and diseases as well.
I think that this experiment shows a great potential use for nanotechnology in the treatment of diseases and human health.
