I enjoy going to crust and grindcore shows occasionally, but I'm not that into it. I would like to play some more leftist grind- and crustcore on Radio Rebelde and therefore need some recommendations from those of you who are into it.

Please help me out! :)

 Yeah Gunman! I would also add (from a Crust Punk perspective) the Subhumans, Crass, Aus Rotten and- well actually that's all the Crust I know

Extreme Noise Terror for teh grindcore win ;)

The only leftist crust band/s that doesn't have an extreme lifestylist aspect to them are Aus Rotten and Behind Enemy Lines which is made up of former Aus Rotten members.

Honestly, I don't care about the lifestylist aspect, so please name that band...:)

Really? So your trying to tell me Crass did not promote inherently lifestylist principles?

Most Napalm Death isn't grind-y, or even very good.

In terms of classics Amebix, Discharge, and Antisect would be the obvious starting points I think. As to current stuff, well, I'm pretty into this local d-beat/hardcore/crust band called Disskum (http://www.myspace.com/disskum) . . .

Added tracks of most of the recomended bands to the playlist, even Napal Death (with "Nazi punks fuck off", DK cover), which is IMO Death Metal and not crust- or grindcore.

I thought Terrorizer were very good.

Get some tracks from Napalm's first album 'Scum'
You need only see the cover to see how political it is.
