I live in a little town where everyone is conservative except for this German kid and me and every time we give my our opinions we get Sh*t from everyone. Like the other day when I said I was against the death penalty somebody called me a woman. I was just wondering if anyone else had this problem.

I attend a rich, private, catholic, military school in southern Minnesota. If you can find a place any more Anti-Leftist just tell me because i would like to hear about it. You all think Bush is dump? You should hear our War arguments at my school. They usually go as follows. A student makes a remark about Iraq being a threat to the United States and surrounding counties. I retort with a comment about Iraq having no missle which can reach as far as Turkey, much less reach the U.S. Then a student will yell something like "remember september 11'th, or "god bless America" and everyone cheers. I dont know how it works for the rest of you but people arent willing to listen to facts.

In NJ, it basically goes the more educated and/or intelligent you are the more you are against this war. Needless to say, most people here equate supporting Bush's administration as being patriotic. Quite alarming.

I am in Canada, and cannot share your feelings. Our conservatives are anti american in nature! That is one of the things being a 'patriotic canadian' requires in addition to loving hockey ;) I make comments and the teacher adds to them to discredit the few pro americans.

I heard Sean Hanitty the other day say use as an argument for I dunno what the fact that Bush is so smart. He said that people should understand that they are not smarter than the president, so how can challenge anything that the presind says. Sad argument really, considering that Sean Hanitty, by supporting the war is challenging the inteligence of the UN. Right now I forget how this related to the thread topic, but when and if I rememebr, I'll be sure to edit this post.

I have the same problem I live in Nashville and I just moved from Milwaukee which was a much more liberal place

Though I suppose I have it easier since nashville is bigger there are a few like me, but for the most part it's real conservative

Here in Long island it's not so bad. Poeple are predominantly conservative but we got a big university next door that brings plenty of enlightened humans.
