the best bit was when we found lunch in some bin and pissed off all those people trying to drive their cars, fancy that.

Also RB, Gadigal nation, Eora clan.

Nah, it's the other way round bro.

I've been corrected by koori mates for calling it Eora Nation, strange.

Anyway most of Sydney would be on Dharug or Kuringai land anyway wouldn't it

Heck yes.

I've been corrected by koori mates for calling it Eora Nation, strange.

It's kinda both, G/Cadigal is correct in the sense that Cadigal land covers the 'city' part of Sydney, but Eora is a nation and language group that refers to a much bigger area than just central sydney. That said, you should use the term that is used by the people of the area, so if that's what Koori mates are telling you to use you should use it, particularly if you're talking about the city which 9/10 would be on Cadigal land.

From gadigal.org.au:

"The historical figure Colbee is believed to be from the Gadigal (Cadigal) clan of the Eora."

http://www.gadigal.org.au/main.php?option=...&parentid=about (http://www.gadigal.org.au/main.php?option=gadigal&itemid=12&parentid=about)

Another source, "The Gadigal people are part of the great Eora nation. The Eora are forged into Australian history as the first nation to experience the brunt of British colonisation or invasion, depending whether you were standing on the shore or on a ship in Botany Bay."

Well most of sydney's population is in the west and south west, with Dharug land covering much of western syd and Dharawal covering the rest (bit of western syd, but mainly the south)- that's the majority of syd's population covered, the largest bulk of population outside these lands would be Cadigal, but more people live in the west and south-west suburbs of sydney than in the city. Kuring-gai land is basically the north-shore area - where most of the rich people now live, but there isnt that many of them :P

Meh, have most of those people ever heard of showers? Or is that too capitalist? What is the goal of this group?

Urgh, that's like something a typical ultra-reactionary talk-back radio host would say, and it's not a 'group', RTS is an annual event.

my indig friends call it the eora nation... i was quite sure that was right. now i'm confused.

my uni campus is on eora land and my house is just on the fringe i believe. the other campus [kurin gai campus] is about to be sold off for $100 million. its on national park land, and was sold to the uni for the token sum of $1, so long as it provided free education. it didn't. and now it's being sold for that princely sum <_<

I can't upload pictures! They are too big.

I can't even move them to a website. But if I can they will be at (and very big).

Damn I don't like it when computers don't work.

Download a gfx program, GIMP, Photoshop etc. and re-size the images. Alternatively, you could use the comp of someone who has said programs, much easier for everyone involved :)

Not a bad RTS. A few annoying things, but cool overall.

How irritating that there is a picture of me front on! I actually like the one with me in the background more....
