This is a very interesting discovery for anyone who likes evolutionary biology!

It also thins out the arguement of hardcore Christians who still believe that God made us "special" from everything else although their arrogance will still not believe this discovery it another piece of arguement that joins the long line to prove their "theory" (if you can call it that) wrong

I posted an article concerning this in the evolution thread here in this forum.

The fundies will of course ignore it. Or claim that it's "of it's own kind" or some bullshit like that.

Pretty much. Religious people are eager to accept anything scientific that helps with their arguement but shun any science that counters it. Not very surprising at all.
Evolution is being affirmed every day but the fundies continue to hold onto crap hypotheses like intelligent design that have no truthful basis. It's even worse when the religion lobby exercises power over the educational system.

Most fundie fucks I've talked to don't even know that the Southern Baptist Convention was a far-right hate cult founded for the sole purpose of defending the All-American institution of Black slavery against liberal Baptists from the North and their sanctions against pro-slavery missionaries, ministers, and congregations.

It is a very interesting disovery.
I don't understand how the "fundies" can actually enter into serious scientific debate when they think "dinosaurs were too big to fit on the ark" is a rational reason to explain why they are no longer around.
