Today I heard some fucked up story.
That a man in England was arrested for singing
a provocative song in public transportation.
I don't know exactly in what kind of transportation device
And what song.
Does anyone knows if it is true?
I'm not from England, but if I was there I would go sing
some songs in the bus.

saw it on NME.com yesterday - he was an asian bloke taking a taxi to the airport.... the tunes? ALongside "Whiter shade of pale" by procol harum, the tunes that offended the taxi driver were:
London Calling - The Clash
Kashmir - Led Zeppelin
the taxi driver got in touch with the police claiming that the choice of the last two tunes could mark somebody out as a terrorist.
Apparently the asian guy took it in good humour. Id have been absolutely gobsmacked!
Stupid.

Yeh, apparently the lines 'now war is declared - the battle come down' and 'meltdown expected' etc. in London Calling patricularly worried the taxi driver.

Because of course, terrorists are dumb enough to sing about their plans on public transport  No need for terrorist actions, the citizenry can easily terrorise themselves.
