Cross out the first T in the phrase "IN GOD WE TRUST".

Ever seen those bills with a message stamped on them from a website or something.
You should do that but like little propaganda messages.
Like for example
top 5% owns 90% of wealth in the U.S
Is their really a seperation between church and state? (then make a arrow pointing to "in god we trust" in the back) Every bill has it.

I would give the marxists.org address, or these quotes:
"Revolutions are the locomotives of history."-Karl Marx
or
"The oppressed are allowed once every few years to decide which particular representatives of the oppressing class are to represent and repress them."-Karl Marx
or
“If there is a State, then there is domination, and in turn, there is slavery.”-Mikhail Bakunin
or
Circle the "In God We Trust," and write above it, "religion is the opium of the masses."

And speaking of which, does anybody know where I can find the quote that goes like this:
"I write messages on money, my own form of personal protest, written on the blood that keeps the beast alive..."
I think it used to be up on the RATM website, but it appears to be gone now, or maybe it was never there...
Does anyone have any idea?
It was in the fold-out from the "Renegades" album.

writing on money is genius..best way to get ur message around...whoeer thought of that should have people kiss his feet.but then be slapped for allowing others to treat him as a superior.

Just use the anarchism symbol: (A)
It's short, quick, and most people recognize it.
Then maybe beside it write 'infoshop.org'.
...okay, I just wrote the (A) symbol and 'infoshop.org' on all the money in my wallet. I also occasionally crossed out 'god' in 'in god we trust'. I also crossed out the first T in that phrase once. It all fits easily with a marker.

I like to do this over existing A's on the note, circle 'em, somethin about America with anarchy symbols just tickles me.

I wrote this once on a dollar because I said it and later thought it was especially understandable and vital...
"Is it democratic for 5% of the population to own 90% of our wealth?"
it's also fun to give Lincoln afros, point to Washington and write "despot" or "slaveowner"
I've also written "I don't" under "IN GOD WE TRUST"
also I've written...
"Stop capitalism"
"RED IS BACK"
I've drawn hammer & sickles
"Liberty, equality, fraternity"
"capitalism=oppression"
"class society [does not equal sign] democracy"

write the least abstract and most relevant stuff you can. radical quotes from people that real people trust (martin luther king, malcolm x, the good ol jefferson quotes), references like websites or books (remember, not everyne has access to the net).
i write on my money too. usually with a fine tip pen around the edges.
also, think about nwhere ur spending the money. if ur using it in a public transit machine or snakc machine u can write more. if at a grocery store something about food or workers rights, if at a convenience store, maybe something about immigrants rights.
but dont go too abstract or confusing. if you write a circle a, maybe include the word anarchism, then maybe theyll look it up.

here's something that i wrote that started out as something to write on dollars, but got to be a little to big, for my handwriting anyway. if you ahve smaller handwriting, or want to cut out some of the words, go for it.
The dollar symbolizes the violent division of society, the isolation of the individual from her community, the totalitarian rule of the pleasure principle, and the commodification of every aspect of human life. It represents a system built on the backs of slaves. It is the creator of the mercenary and the prostitute; everything meaningful, everything worth living for, dissolves in its presence. We all become cogs in a lifeless machine; we abandon our aspirations and dreams as we chase the dollar, the fetish of the post-modern religion, the footsteps of a malevolent deity on earth.
It is time for our human species to begin of a process of reconciliation and healing, and this process must begin with the destruction of the dollar and the system that it represents!

the problem with the anarchist symbolis that peoplthink that it is there just because some misguided punk wanted to piss off authority. write something meaningful.

If you have any Northern Bank notes you can write:
"I have £26 million in these stored in my freezer. Come and get them."

If you have large bills such as $50.00 or $100.00, write something like "Do you know how many hungry mouths this bill can feed?". Be creative.

Isn't it a crime to deface the queen?
it's treason to put a stamp on upside-down (seriously!), so wouldn't surprise me if it was some kind of offence to do anything on money.

"Are you content now that you have this £5 (or whatever) note in your pocket? Does it make you feel any better knowing most of the population in Africa and South America have to live on less than this in a day?"
Or if you're looking for speed:
"Money is the root of all evil!"
I've gotta try some of this though!
I will now do this on every bill I come in contact with  .

Margaret Thatcher once ripped a wad of notes up on television (I can't remember the reason) but the police never did anything. <_<
Money is nothing, but a promise to pay a debt. Those with more notes promising them repayment of debts are considered "rich". But debts to what? Its never stated and never measured because its all relative.
realistically, do it. how are they gonna catch you.
trace the ink to a pen that has been sitting on a dumpster for a week that maybe has 20 different fingerprints on it, not to mention covered in decomposing rubbish. seriously, theyre not gonna bother trying to catch you if it is an offence... the cops might tell you off if they catch you doing it, but once its done, its too unreasonable to follow up.
i love the ideas... im gonna start doing it.

I know its illegal to deface the queens head but whos going to pay attention to that?! I once saw a science video where they dropped a coin in sulphuric acid - I guess they didnt get charged!

Another good idea is to get hold of those tools you used to use in metalwork class in school to put your name on the back of your projects and use them to imprint stuff onto metal money,i came across loads of these in Dublin with IRA etc on them, thats what gave me the idea,i suppose you have to keep it fairly simple as you would run out of space but you could get marxist.org on it easily.

Today, I wrote "I sold terrorists WMDs for this money"
I like the theme of corruption for the money.
"I sold small arms to tyrant Africans for this money"
"It's a good thing you're buying McDonalds for lunch instead of food for those who haven't eaten for days"
"How does it feel to have blood in your pocket/in your hands/in your wallet/all over your cocain"
"Insert slave owner here"(point to picture)
"In Allah we Trust"
Great idea, thanks a lot.
hey mscommieparty...
I hope you didn't write "Capitolism is Opression" exactly...
because its 'Capitalism is oppression'. :D

Actually the Union Jack does have a "right way" and a "wrong way"
Link (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Union_jack#Specifications_for_flag_use)
Unfortunately, only a tiny percentage of the population actually knows this so it's unlikey to be succesful.
And, since it is a naval flag, to hang it upside-down is not offensive, in fact, it is official naval code for "we are in distress" when hung as such on a ship.

On the inside jacket of RATM's last album there are some examples of what to write on money. Stuff like "Burn this Bill, You are not a slave."
