i listen to mostly classical (of all periods), indy, lo-fi, prog, punk, new-wave, classic rock, psychedelic, hardcore, R&B, funk, blues, jazz, blues-rock, alternative rock, post-punk, proto-punk, glam rock, pop, tropicalia, bossa nova, be bop, hard bop, folk, folk-rock, singer/songwritter, hip-hop

if it sounds like I mentioned everything I could think of, I did not. I left out grunge, metal, alternative metal, country, hair metal, and reggae
because I honestly either dislike those genres or seldom listen to them

i guess at the moment im listening to punk and thrash metal a lot and also a lot of bands like the yeah yeah yeahs but im not sure what music genre that would be

Anything played on real instruments. Anything not played on real instruments. Anything played partly on real instruments, partly not on real instruments.

But especially anything that doesn't fit into a genre.

Also, thanks for not making this a poll :). There are simply too many genres and mini-genres to make everyone happy.
