Alright. I was surfing the GNN, minding my own commie business, when suddenly I'm confronted with this little news. (http://www.theregister.co.uk/2006/04/01/gwot_cha/)

Now, before I start going Che Guevera on some asses, I need to know:

(1) Who the fuck is the Register?
(1a) Are they a credible source of news or are they comparible to "Crazy Ted's Crazy News Shed" er.. the tabloids?
(2a) If this is for reals, should we start the revolution this Thursday? :P

The Register are respected in the online Tech community. They generally run stories that you can believe most of. And yes this story is obviously bullshit.

The url of the register article has the word "gotcha" in it, and it says april fools at the beginning of the article.
