I'm still new to Socialism so some terms I still havn't learned yet I guess. I was reading on the Republic of China and I read about a class within China that seems to be looked upon in a good way. They are called Patriotic Capitalists. What does this term mean and who are these people. Do any other Communist Parties have good feelings towards these people? How can a Capitalist be good? I'm confused, lol.

I was hoping someone with more experiance with Socialism and Communism could shed some light on this for me.

Thanks.

I think it's referring to people like Sun Yat-Sen, who wanted the establishment of a Chinese capitalist state during the period of anarchy of the civil war. Even though he was capitalist, he wanted an independent Chinese state and was thus seen as positive.
