Hello,

Firstly, the label communist for china is not accurate, and never has been.

In my opinion, its more like a keynesian economy at the moment.

So, it is capitalist, but markets are regulated more stricktly and private enterprise has to be done closer to the government.

Also there are some nationalised industry.

However, as we know, capitalism works better ( for the capitalists) when there is less state interference so it will likely become more and more like other capitalist countries.

It has a growing "middle" class, who all own property, and will likely want freedoms for their children ect. Meaning there might be some form of liberalization within china, and eventually a liberal "democracy", like USA or European country.

But as for its definition, i'd say its capitalist, with a communist party leading, who are communist only in name.
