Demuelen casa del "Che" Guevara en Argentina

CORDOBA, Argentina - La casa que habitó a mediados de la década del 40 el legendario guerrillero argentino-cubano Ernesto "Che" Guevara fue demolida para construir un complejo de viviendas, se informó el lunes.

La casa estaba ubicada en el barrio Nueva Córdoba, en la capital de la provincia con el mismo nombre, a unos 800 kilómetros al norte de Buenos Aires, que fue ocupada por la familia Guevara entre 1943 y 1947.

Según informó el lunes el diario La Voz del Interior de esa provincia, la casa de dos plantas fue vendida por sus últimos dueños a una empresa constructora, que meses atrás procedió a su demolición para levantar allí un complejo de viviendas horizontales.

El "Che" nació en Rosario, provincia de Santa Fe, en 1928. Tras detectarse que sufría asma, su familia decidió mudarse a Córdoba, donde un clima más seco favorecía el tratamiento del niño.

Los Guevara vivieron durante once años en la localidad de Alta Gracia y en 1943 se trasladaron a Córdoba capital, donde el padre del "Che" comenzó a trabajar para un estudio de arquitectura.

Según el diario, la alcaldía de la ciudad intentó salvar la vivienda de ser demolida, pero les fue imposible dado su alto valor económico.
