View Full Version : Personal gain... fuel (oil) for war

Recently it has been brought to my attention that everyone in this war is acting for personal benefit, and I liked what that person had to say so I researched it further and this is what I came up with. First for the American's this war is not about who has missiles or who killed whom in the past. If you think that Bush gives a damn about third world death's or potential third world death's enough to send American troops overseas to potentially get killed you are wrong in my opinion. Now onto how everyone benefits from this war...

First lets look at the obvious, Bush.

I have come to the opinion that Bush is in this war for personal benefit. Now many of you ask how Bush can benefit from going to war, this war will cost the U.S. up to 90 billion dollars. Well he is not the one paying. He will benefit through donations to his campaign and dishonest deals. After this war, someone has to rebuild Iraq, and the U.$. have proved to be angels, they already sold contracts to Halliburton (a large construction company). Now some of you might not be familiar with Halliburton, so let me fill you in. Halliburton is a giant corporation. Just a few of their services include, construction, Oil (every step involved in oil production), and yes supplying the U.$'s. and U.K.'s Department of Defense’s with "fast-track construction, logistics and support services in remote, militarized locations to day-to-day base operations support" In other words they supply the military with the tools of the trade. Now how does this all make Bush Money? Well Halliburton being one of the largest contributor's to both George Bush Sr. and George W. Bush's campaigns may have just gotten a bit of consideration. What I am trying to say is, Halliburton does not give them this money because they are nice people, it is because they know that they will be first in line for government contracts, such as the ones to rebuild Iraq, and it's oil fields. In the past government officials (Dick Cheney as the As Secretary of Defense) have been awarded with very high paying jobs after giving contracts to Halliburton. So we can only assume that unless there has been a change in company tradition, George might just get him self a nice job at our friends Halliburton. And hey once Saddam is gone he the coalition government is able to support any candidate for the next rule of Iraq they want, and you better believe that that person will a) agree with bush on everything b)get elected with the support of the U$, and UK

On that note let's move on to Dick Cheney. As the As Secretary of Defense, while Bush Sr. was in power, Cheney worked to privatize the system, awarding a particularly large contract worth millions to Brown and Root, a division of Halliburton. Then, when Cheney became a private citizen, he was hired as CEO of Halliburton and earned around $50 million in five short years to continue to contribute to the growth of that oil company. Do you think they will take him back after awarding them another multi-billion dollar contract?

Now onto John Ashcroft, someone who has given interviews, and openly supported to racist, neo-confederate publications. While Ashcroft was running for reelection to the Senate against the late Mel Carnahan in 2000, he met secretly with a CCC (Council of Conservative Citizens, a southern racist group) leader named Thomas Bugel to discuss the fate of a CCC member indicted for plotting to murder an FBI agent, among other offenses. When that meeting was exposed following his nomination for attorney general, Ashcroft claimed through a spokeswoman that he didn't know about Bugel's association with the CCC.
Now why would he have any objections with going to war with an Arab state. I mean not like any of those A-raabs would die *wink wink*?

Saddam- Saddam knows that he will lose this war in my opinion. But he is using it to his advantage as much as he possibly can. Through this war he is given a platform to speak on. He is using this war to spread anti-American feeling all over the Arab world. he will also create Anti-American feelings in the western world by dragging out an urban war with man casualties. The Globe and Mail says that the U.$. Government predicts 70% casualties on their side if there is urban fighting in Baghdad. I will not get into the possible repercussions of the different Extremist groups in and around Iraq on Israel, and anything remotely connected to the U.$..

France- Like Bush France doesn't give a hoot about human rights or weapons. France has been working with Saddam for six years in the 1990s doing preparatory work on two giant oil fields and has signed two tentative agreements with Saddam to develop them. They could lose billions of dollars in oil if Saddam is no longer in power. France would loose their cooperation from Iraq if they joined the coalition against them. TotalFinaElf is the French equivalent to Halliburton. Currently they are trying to make deals with Halliburton saying that it would be too dangerous to have an American company doing work in Iraq due to the anti-American feelings.

Russia- Saddam owes Russia over 9 billion dollars, that’s a lot of rubles.

These are just some of the main players in the twisted war for gain. I cut it off there but if you would like to know more about this please email me.

Now some final words of advice.

"come on all you big strong men Uncle Sam needs your help again got him self in an awful jam way down yonder with man named Saddam put down your books and pick up a gun. and it's 1 2 3 what are we fight'n for don't ask me I don't give a damn next stop is Saddam. And it's 5 6 7 open up the pearly gates, and got time to wonder why, Whoopee were all gonna die

now come on Wall Street don't be slow this war go go go there's plenty good money to be made supplying the army with the tools of the trade"
Variation on Fix’ in to die rag - Country Joe and the Fish (it's a song)

Now for my last thing, in a hostile situation more guns never gets anywhere except closer to god (in a box). this is the most important part of my long email.
