Just watched the CentCom press conference Live on EuroNews.
The brigadier general said there was a different view on Planet Earth where the actual fighting was taking place on the ground...
The only hindrance so far had been the weather, he said, admitting no problems of underestimating the enemy or overextended supply lines, despite directly contradictory quotes (eg "we didn't war-game for
this" and "we're out of rations") from operational commanders given by the poodle press in attendance.
Most interesting was the apparent distaste of the invaders for "paramilitary forces" and -- wait for it! -- "terrorist-like death squads" later abbreviated to "terrorist death squads". As if Iraq had no right to defend itself as best it could against an illegal and
unilateral war of aggression. But particularly as if the US itself hadn't created, trained, promoted and developed the concept of such paramilitary forces and death squads in Latin America.
I now expect the US and central government forces in Colombia to engage with and neutralize all "paramilitary" and "terrorist-like death squad" forces in that country, to liberate it and bring about necessary regime change. And of course I also expect porkers to fly
in the sky and not just porkies to fly on Sky or out of the mouths of CentCom brigadier generals living on a different astral plane from the rest of us.
Right. I'm off for a run to burn some of the slag and sewage from this intellectual and moral pollution out of my system.
Cheers,
Choppa
